The Good Business Festival launches in Liverpool live on 22nd March.
There are lots of different events going on throughout the three day event, and we are pleased to be part of it!
At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Regenda Group commissioned the charity Music in Mind to capture the personal stories of people who live and work in the areas we operate in.
Many of the organisations within the Regenda Group operated on the front line during the pandemic, so it was important to feature the perspectives of service users, residents, volunteers and staff – from our Regenda Homes residents, to people affected by homelessness from Petrus homeless charity, and the inspiring stories from The Learning Foundry, working with people to make talent shine in a time when there was so much darkness.
The piece will be premiered at the Good Business Festival on Tuesday 22nd March at Tue, 7.30 pm at the British Music Experience in the Cunard Building on Liverpool’s waterfront.
The performance featuring musicians from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and film takes us into the emotional world behind the greatest challenge of our time to raise questions and generate hope for a better future.

The following day on 23rd March a group of 11 young people will take the stage to pitch their business ideas to a group of entrepreneurs and local leaders in a dragon’s den style event!
The pitch is the culmination of a 10-week training programme, Youthquake. The programme was originally created in partnership between The Good Business Festival, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, The Learning Foundry, and The Regenda Group. It was designed to give young people the opportunity to act for the common good – learning, collaborating, and working towards making their social enterprise ideas a reality.
This year’s programme is sponsored by the Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership, and each of the business ideas forms a solution aimed at reducing crime and violence in the region.
The panel of dragons include some of the most successful business people in our region and key community leaders including Dawn Paine – CEO of Aurora Agency, Emily Spurrell – Police and Crime Commissioner for Merseyside, Detective Superintendent Siobhan Gainer – Head of Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership and Dave Brown – MD of Apposing Design and Marketing.
