The Regenda Group has been awarded the coveted Investors in People Gold accreditation in a year that also sees them celebrate their 20th anniversary.
The Regenda Group, which employs over 750 staff across nine organisations, continues to demonstrate one of the highest achievable standards set by the Investors in People framework (IIP).
Previously, the Group’s housing association Regenda Homes, has been awarded Gold, however, this year sees that status apply to the entire organisation for the first time.
Investors in People provides a framework for businesses to adhere to a which supports and encourages a culture of continuous learning for all staff. Their mission is to ‘make work better by providing accreditation and advice on how to improve efficiency over time’.
Accreditation is only granted to companies that demonstrate a clear commitment to the people who make up their organisation. Only 17% of organisations are accredited with the Gold standard.
Michael Birkett, Chief Executive Officer of The Regenda Group, said: “We are very proud to achieve such an important award and we will continue to invest in the brilliant people who make up our organisation. A key factor in the achievement of IIP Gold is due to The Regenda Group being a values driven organisation. Staff report they feel appreciated for their contribution and the collaborative way of working helps all parts of the Group to achieve a shared vision and purpose. The Group’s approach to learning supports career progression and allows people to fulfil their potential. In addition, the organisation embraces changes and encourages staff to implement new ways of working that support Regenda’s social purpose.
